How does the bulk beef deposit work?
For an eighth, quarter, half or whole cow, you place a non-refundable deposit up front and pay the remaining balance when the beef is processed and ready. You can add marrow bones to your order if you wish.
How much beef is in a half cow or quarter cow?
A quarter cow is about 100 lb of beef, a half cow about 200 lb and a whole cow about 400 lb.
How much freezer space do I need?
It depends on the share size. Our freezer space and storage time calculator shows how much room each share takes and how long it keeps.
Can I pick up bulk beef at the market?
Yes. Reserve your share online and fill your freezer in one trip at the Montgomery Curb Market on a Saturday, or have it shipped.
Is bulk beef dry aged?
Yes. Every cut is dry aged up to 28 days, and ground beef 21 days. Everything is vacuum-sealed and flash frozen.
What if the share I want is sold out?
Availability changes as shares are reserved. Contact us to ask when your share will be available again.
