What is your tallow skincare made from?
Beef tallow from our own cattle, made in small batches on our Alabama ranch. Our scented balms use essential oils.
Is tallow balm greasy?
No. Tallow comes from gently rendered beef fat with a fatty acid profile similar to your skin's own, so it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy film.
Does it smell like beef?
No. We render our tallow at least 3 times before it goes into any of our products, which removes any beefy smell.
Do I need to refrigerate it?
No. Properly rendered tallow like ours is shelf stable. Store it in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup.
How much is shipping?
Tallow orders of $75 or more ship free within the contiguous U.S. You can also add tallow to any beef order.
What if I don't love it?
We'll work with you to make sure you're getting the most out of your product, and if you're still unsatisfied, we'll gladly refund you.
