How is it shipped?

All of our tallow products are shipped in our hot-iron branded, environmentally freindly boxes. The unboxing experience gives you a beautiful - yet simplified start to your clean skincare journey with the rustic feel of our very own cattle brand, combined with earthy tones of fluffy crinkle paper to protect your items during shipping.

Is tallow skincare greasy?

Nope! Because tallow is derived from gently rendered beef fat, it is almost bio-identical to your skin's fatty acid profile. This ensures it absorbs quickly, and deeply - resulting in long-lasting nourishment that doesn't leave you will a filmy, greasy layer of oil!

Does the unscented smell like beef fat?

We actually render our tallow a minimum of 3 times during the preparation before it is formulated in any of our skincare products. This ensures any "beefy" smell is removed - leaving you with the warm, earthy tones that accompany the natural minerals, vitamins, and fatty acids present in your skincare.

Do I have to keep my tallow refridgerated?

Properly rendered tallow (like ours) is actually shelf stable for quite some time. No need to store it in the fridge - just store it in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup. Our amber jars help decrease potential exposure to light as well!

Tallow is actually one of the most gently ingredients you can use in skincare. This is due to the fact that there are no carcinogens or synthetic substances present.

Do you accept returns?

If you are unsatisfied with your tallow skincare, we will gladly refund you - we just ask that you offer your jar to someone you know who has been wanting to try it themselves.

Can I order beef and tallow together in one shipment?

Absolutely! You can add tallow to any beef order (allow thawing before use), and it counts toward your free beef shipping threshold. That means:

  • $175 or more, it ships free within our ground network.
  • $275 or more, it ships free nationwide (contiguous U.S.).
