Product Details

Most strip steaks give you the name without the flavor to back it up.

This dry aged New York strip steak is raised on open Alabama pasture, grass fed and non-GMO grain finished for the marbling people expect from a real strip, then dry aged for deeper, more concentrated beef flavor before it ever leaves the ranch.

No antibiotics. No hormones. No vaccines. Just a classic cut raised well and prepared to cook the way a good steak should.

Our Dry Aged New York Strip Steak is:

  • Cut thick for even cooking
  • Grass fed, non-GMO grain finished
  • Dry aged for deeper flavor and better texture
  • No antibiotics, no added hormones, no vaccines, no fillers
  • Raised at Diamond D Ranch, Alabama
  • Flash frozen at peak freshness

Built for the Grill or the Cast Iron

Get your surface hot before the steak ever touches it. Sear until a real crust forms, rest it well, and slice. That is all a dry aged New York strip steak needs. The aging has already done the flavor work. Simple seasoning is enough.

Works equally well on a grill, in a cast iron skillet, or finished in the oven on a reverse sear.

This is a steak for a cook who wants something dependable in the freezer and worth building a dinner around. Raised right. Nothing hidden. Learn how we raise our cattle in Alabama

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions

What makes the Diamond D Ranch New York Strip Steak unique?

These steaks are well-marbled and known for delivering a bold, tender flavor that makes any meal feel like a special occasion. Each cut is dry-aged for up to 28 days and at least 21 days to significantly enhance the natural richness and depth of the meat.

Furthermore, the beef is 100% natural, raised on organic Alabama pastures without the use of antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines.

Where is the New York Strip cut located on the cow?

The New York Strip is a premium cut sourced from the short loin, which is located in the middle of the back of the animal. This section is prized for yielding some of the most tender steaks available, including both the New York Strip and the Porterhouse.

What are the best ways to cook a New York Strip Steak?

This versatile steak is perfect for grilling, searing, or oven-roasting. For a quick weeknight meal, you can sear it in a hot skillet with garlic and butter for 4–5 minutes per side, or bake it on a sheet pan with vegetables at 425°F.

You can even prepare it in a crockpot as steak bites by cubing the meat and slow-cooking it with butter and Worcestershire sauce for 2–3 hours.

Because of the high-quality dry-aging process, minimal seasoning. Often, just salt and pepper are needed to bring out the gourmet flavor.

Does Diamond D Ranch offer free shipping for steak orders?

Yes, shipping is free on beef orders over $175 within their ground network and free nationwide for orders over $275. All orders are shipped to the 48 contiguous U.S. states in insulated, crush-proof packaging to ensure the beef arrives frozen.

To help reach these free shipping thresholds, customers can also add tallow skincare products to any beef order

How should I store these steaks, and how long do they last?

Each steak is vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen at peak freshness to prevent freezer burn and flavor loss. They are designed to last between 12 to 18 months in a standard home freezer.

Because they are available as individual single cuts, they can fit easily in a standard freezer drawer, meaning you do not need a large chest freezer to order.
