Most briskets can produce a decent result. Decent is not what you fire up a smoker for.
Our grass fed brisket comes from cattle raised on open Alabama pasture, grass-fed and grain-finished, never sent to a feedlot.
Every cut is dry aged for 28 days before it reaches your door. By the time it hits your smoker, the flavor is already deep, the structure is already there, and the tenderness is already underway.
Dry aging does not shortcut the cooking; it gives you a better starting point for it.
Our Dry Aged Brisket’s Promise
- 28-day dry aged for deeper flavor, better bark, and more consistent tenderness
- Grass-fed and grain-finished on an Alabama pasture
- No antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines
- No injections or shortcuts in processing
- Available in 1 to 4.5 lb cuts
- Flash frozen and vacuum sealed for 12 to 18 months
- Ships directly from our ranch and no middlemen
Built for the Smoker
Set your smoker to 225°F and plan for 1 to 1.5 hours per pound. Wrap in butcher paper once the bark is set and pull it between 195 and 200°F internal. Dry aging means the brisket breaks down more reliably and holds moisture longer than a conventional cut at the same temperature and time. Learn how to smoke a brisket guide

Where This Cut Is Located on the Cow
Brisket
Brisket is a flavorful, well-exercised cut from the chest, best cooked low and slow for tender results.
The brisket is fantastic! We had it for a family holiday and it was a hit! Tender and so full of savory flavor.
I’ve never had brisket in a crockpot, but trust me this turned out great!
OK... don't kill me, but this brisket is amazing when cooked in the crock pot with veggies and the Diamond D bone broth. Just toss it all in and let it go over night on low... so good and so healthy!
Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions
What is the best way to cook Diamond D Ranch beef brisket?
Our brisket is specifically built for low-and-slow cooking to achieve a juicy, pull-apart texture. You can prepare it in a crockpot (4–6 hours on low), oven-braise it at 300°F for 3–4 hours, or smoke it at 225°F until the internal temperature reaches 195–200°F.
For a nutrient-dense, comforting meal, some customers recommend tossing it in the crockpot overnight with vegetables and bone broth.
How is Diamond D Ranch brisket different from store-bought options?
Unlike mass-produced beef, every brisket is born and raised on our Alabama ranch and undergoes a dry-aging process for up to 28 days, which significantly enhances its natural tenderness and depth of flavor.
The cattle are grass-fed and finished with a non-GMO grain ration to ensure flavorful marbling. Free from antibiotics, added hormones, and vaccines.
Where is the brisket cut located on the cow?
The brisket is a flavorful, well-exercised cut taken from the chest. Because it comes from a muscle that is frequently used, it is naturally robust and requires patience and gentle heat to transform it into a tender, "melt-in-your-mouth" centerpiece for family dinners.
How long can I store this brisket in my freezer?
Because our briskets are vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen at peak freshness, they will remain high-quality for 12 to 18 months in a home freezer without flavor loss or freezer burn. We offer portions ranging from 1 to 4.5 lbs, making it easy for those with limited space to fit a single cut or a curated bundle into a standard freezer drawer
